Diana Sardaryan, Class of 2027
Diana Sardaryan is an emerging art curator with over five years of experience in both institutional and independent art contexts, working locally and internationally. With a background in film direction, she engages with a wide range of mediums in contemporary and historical art , as well as archives, spanning traditional forms, non-traditional practices, and creative technologies. Her curatorial work is dedicated to amplifying underrepresented cultures, engaging with post-colonial narratives, and exploring the relevance of authentic cultural expressions, situated cultural knowledge, and plural practices within today’s global context. Her research interests focus on the intersection of art, design, and technology, reflecting human experience of themselves and each other through cultural production and shared environments. She is drawn to uncovering marginalized knowledge and cultural layers, exploring alternative realities through artworks that reveal what is new, overlooked, or concealed.
