Hongjin Zhou, Class of 2027
Hongjin Zhou's passion for curation stems from her experience of working as a volunteer guide at a museum since childhood, at that time mainly interpreting bronze vessels, ceramics, and traditional Chinese paintings, helping to build a bridge for the public to understand history and culture. From 2023 to 2025, she participated in several projects at the Sichuan Provincial Cultural Center. Her work focused on traditional calligraphy and painting, intangible cultural heritage artifacts, and various cultural exhibitions. These experiences enabled her to integrate academic knowledge with practical work.
She firmly believes that the power of art lies in its ability to transcend time and culture, connecting different souls, particularly those fascinated by the dialogue between traditional and contemporary art, and is dedicated to finding innovative ways to interpret and share art. She hopes to master the skills of presenting contemporary art so that more people can have the opportunity to appreciate the charm of it.
