Naomi Moser, Class of 2027
Naomi Moser received her BA in Media Studies: Film/Video from Scripps College in 2013 and her MFA in Photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Detroit in 2018. In 2020, she completed a Fulbright grant in Bucharest, Romania, researching Yiddish Theater. Most recently, she has curated a series of group shows/art parties in Los Angeles that explore viewing art in non-traditional spaces. As a video, animation, and performance artist, she has participated in residencies at The BANFF Centre, Atlantic Center for the Arts, and Beirut Art Residency. Her work has been featured in group shows and screenings, including Give Me a Tension!, a two-person show at Space Gallery in Portland, Maine; the 20/92 Video Festival at Icebox Project Space in Philadelphia; and the ALC Videoart Festival at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Alicante (MACA). Moser is interested in curating projects that explore performance, both live and screened, organic and machinic, in an effort to better understand what it means to be human.
