In light of the current context and the challenges and opportunities now in front of us, a special summit will bring together cultural leaders, artists, IDB experts, amongst others, for panel discussions and specially commissioned art performances to provoke and inspire useful ways to address the concerns of the post-pandemic era.

The Summit is part of the IDB’s commitment to be at the forefront of efforts to control and recover from the coronavirus pandemic. This virtual event will discuss topics such as the impact of our cultural institutions in reimaging communities; the future of our cities and their technological transformation; and artists as first-responders for healing and renovation.

The event will be in English and Spanish with Interpretation.
