The Kitchen Presents Miho Hatori: Salon Mondialité, organized by MACP faculty member Tim Griffin

From thekitchen.org:

"Inspired by Edouard Glissant’s words, Salon Mondialité is an imaginary, experimental TV talk show. Instead of conversations, Hatori creates sound stories through improvisation and ambient chanting. With guest musicians Smokey Hormel and Patrick Higgins, and featuring a video installation by the artist, the Salon combines an expression of love for Glissant’s Caribbean ideascapes as they intersect with Hatori’s faded memories of post-War Japan before the era of globalization."

March 22-23, 8pm. $25 General / $20 Members.
